What is the shelf life of fresh-baked Ohio Sugar Cookies?
Our cookies are made scratch from our original family recipe per order. We use simple, fresh ingredients. With no added preservatives. Please enjoy within 3 days when taken out of package sealed bag. While in sealed bag each cookie lasts 7+ days. You may freeze extra cookies for up to 3 months.
How to dethaw sugar cookies if they have been placed in freezer?
Please place sugar cookie into the fridge first. Preferably dethaw for 1 hr before opening to retain the best moisture and softness of cookie. If being placed directly on counter from freezer the colors may slightly mix together.
What locations are in Ohio Sugar Cookies delivery zone?
We deliver cookies within 25 miles of North Canton such as Akron, Clinton, Canal Fulton, Green, Hartville, New Franklin and more. We are working to perfect our shipping and protect our buttercream iced cookies upon delivery. When we have this part down we will be shipping nationwide. Until then we locally deliver.
When should I have my cookie order delivered?
Please select a delivery date one to two days before you need them. To ensure they arrive soft, fresh and delicious.
How are the cookies packaged?
All of our baked fresh cookies are placed into sealed bags unless requested otherwise. This locks in freshness and will last up to one week when kept inside the bag. Also, individual bagged cookies, make perfect party favors!
How do I know my online order was received?
When your order is placed on the web site, you will see a "Thank You" page, which will have an online order confirmation number on it. This is confirmation that your order has successfully been placed. You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been received. If there are any problems with your order, we will contact you by text or email.
What if I do not receive an order confirmation via e-mail?
You will receive an order confirmation message via e-mail shortly after we receive your order. If you do not see it in your inbox within 10 minutes please check your spam folder. If for some reason you still do not see it, you can double check the order has been received by contacting us. Please feel free to contact us by texting us at 330-305-7138.
Can I change the delivery address?
We will be happy to change the delivery address as long as it is not in route for delivery and within our delivery zone. Simply contact us by texting us at 330-305-7138.
Can I change the date of my order's delivery?
Yes. Simply contact us directly and we will update your order and send a confirmation email as well.
Is it safe to use my credit card online?
All information is encrypted using SSL (secure socket layer) technology. When your browser is in secure mode, you will notice a blue bar at the top of the browser window and an unbroken key or lock icon at the bottom left corner of the window.
Can I cancel an order?
If your order has not been made, we will be happy to cancel it. To do so, please contact us by text 330-305-7138 asap.
When will my order arrive?
When placing your order, you will be asked to request a delivery date and time. We try our best to accommodate your desired timeframe within the hours of 11a - 6p. If no one answers the door while cookies are being delivered we will place the box of cookies near the front door like a door dash delivery would do. Unless a different location is requested at checkout.
How far in advance can I place my order?
We recommend placing your order as soon as you can! We will deliver your fresh, baked cookies by the date you choose at checkout. You can schedule an order up to a year in advance. We do fill up our calendars fast through certain points of year. Since we are a small family run business we do limit how many orders can be baked, designed and delivered per day. Those full dates will be shown on the delivery calendar and grayed out and non selectable.
Which credit cards/payment methods are accepted?
We accept a variety of credit cards including American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover Card. Google Pay, PayPal and Venmo are also accepted.
When will my credit card be charged?
We will attempt to secure authorization on your credit card at the point of purchase online. However, payment will not be sent to us until we mark the order as fulfilled.
Why should I choose Ohio Sugar Cookies for my cookie order?
We are a small family run business with combined baking experience of over 25 years. Designed sugar cookies are our passion. We do this full time and have a ton of practice designing with buttercream. We ONLY design with delicious buttercream icing NEVER royal. So this makes the best tasting AND beautiful themed cookies for any event. Send us inspiration designed photos for your next event; even if those inspiration cookies are designed in royal, we can recreate them pretty closely in buttercream. Need to taste our work?
